We are a leading Out of Home (OOH) advertising company in Northern Ireland, delivering impactful campaigns across roadside, transport, and digital formats. With a strong presence and a growing portfolio, we are now looking for an ambitious and driven Head of Direct Sales to spearhead our direct-to-client growth strategy.
Role Overview
The Head of Direct Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth through direct client acquisition and management. This senior role will focus on winning new business, nurturing long-term partnerships, and creating a scalable sales model that supports the recruitment and development of a high-performing sales team over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a direct sales strategy to maximise revenue from local, regional, and national advertisers.
- Identify and target high-value prospects, with a strong emphasis on new business acquisition.
- Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets in line with company growth plans.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build strong, consultative relationships with clients to understand their marketing objectives and create tailored OOH solutions.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and delivery.
- Market Development
- Identify emerging market opportunities and develop strategies to capture them.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and changing client needs in the Northern Ireland advertising landscape.
- Team Development
- Initially operate as a hands-on sales leader, directly responsible for closing business.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a sales team as revenue growth supports expansion.
- Foster a high-performance, target-driven sales culture.
- Commercial Insight
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Work with marketing and operations teams to ensure campaign success and maximise repeat business.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven track record in high-value B2B sales, ideally within media, advertising, or marketing services.
- Strong knowledge of the Out of Home advertising sector is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and deliver results in a competitive market.
- Experience in building and managing a sales team, or clear potential to do so.
- Commercially astute with excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Competitive base salary with OTE of £45k to £50k, uncapped.
